This online evaluation platform is a service provided by the Impact Unit, a project by Wissenschaft im Dialog, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space. The Impact Unit developed this evaluation platform to promote meaningful evaluation in science communication.
The platform is available in German and is free of charge for all science communication practitioners. It guides users through the entire process of conducting a survey for evaluating science communication: from designing questionnaires and collecting data to conducting descriptive analyses.
To support users in creating insightful surveys, the platform offers access to a catalogue of survey questions. These questions are specifically designed for data collection from citizens participating in science communication activities. Based on a projects objectives and the selected survey design, the platform recommends suitable questions and items, which users can further edit or supplement with their own.
